About the role Due to continued business growth, Contract Resources (CR) is seeking motivated Industrial Services (IS) Technicians to join our Victoria team. This role will primarily support local yard and warehouse operations, with the opportunity to mobilise to Oil & Gas projects and shutdowns across Australia as required. This is a dynamic, dual-purpose position, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work. You’ll be involved in day-to-day yard activities, including assisting with the preparation and mobilisation of critical assets for shutdowns, supporting trades and IS operators, while also having the opportunity to work on site during shutdowns and project campaigns. This role would suit someone seeking flexible or casual work between projects, or those seeking adhoc work while on RNR. Duties will include but not limited to Supporting yard and project teams, including equipment preparation for upcoming scopes Assisting with basic maintenance of equipment (pumps, compressors, hydraulics) Operating forklifts and other equipment safely Supporting shutdowns and project work across Oil & Gas sites as required Ensure collaborative interaction between all internal stakeholders and counterparts Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with HSEQ and quality standards Required Licences & Experience Needed Current Driver’s Licence HR/HC Licence (Advantageous) Construction Induction Card (White Card) Working at Heights (within 2 years) Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years) Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years) High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desirable) Vacuum Operations Ticket (desirable) High Pressure Water Blasting Ticket (desirable) Full Australian work rights Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety Experience in shutdowns or preventative maintenance within heavy industry (highly regarded) Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach Flexible and adaptable to varying work scopes (yard-based and site-based) Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills How to apply If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic, growing organisation, please select the ‘Apply Now’ button to submit your application.
