We’re looking for a capable Level 2 IT Technician to join our Perth team—someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, communicating clearly with clients, and taking ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced MSP environment. The Role As a Level 2 Technician, you’ll provide a mix of remote and onsite support, handling escalations and contributing to continuous improvement across our client environments. Key Responsibilities Respond to support requests via phone, electronically, and in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently and professionally. Provide server and network infrastructure support both remotely and onsite as required. Deliver clear updates, progress notes, and status reports to clients and stakeholders. Monitor client environments for cyber/security incidents and respond appropriately. Contribute to developing and improving procedures, documentation, and service delivery. Assist with project delivery and coordination as required. What You’ll Bring (Essential) Minimum 3 years experience in an MSP (or similar multi-client support environment). Strong troubleshooting skills across workstation, server and network issues. Great communication skills—able to explain technical outcomes to non-technical users. Solid experience supporting Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, file services, IIS, SQL, and RDS . Experience with virtualisation (particularly Hyper‑V ). Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Azure . Competency with networking gear including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi , ideally across Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti ecosystems. Exposure to backup platforms such as Datto, ShadowProtect, and Veeam . Highly Regarded PSA / documentation experience (e.g., Autotask and IT Glue ). Experience with SIEM solutions.
