This is a true hunter-style BDM role with a strategic edge; ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, influencing specifications, and building pipeline from the ground up, while also working closely with an established partner network to nurture and expand existing accounts. What you’ll be doing Driving new business across Australia (VIC/NSW) Engaging with decision makers to have solutions specified into projects Leading complex, technical sales cycles end-to-end Supporting channel partners with product training to improve sales capability Playing a key role in launching and positioning new technologies Providing market insights, competitor analysis, and contributing to strategy Managing pipeline, activity, and forecasting through CRM What’s on offer Fulltime Permanent Strategic BDM Position Can be based in Melbourne or Sydney (looking after VIC/NSW) Hybrid role: blend of WFH, on the road (and/or the Melb office) $120,000 - $140,000 super commissions (base negotiable depending on experience) Car allowance and tools of the trade provided Travel across Australia (potentially APAC) to build relationships and drive growth (up to 25%) $120,000 - $140,000 super commissions (base negotiable depending on experience) Car allowance and tools of the trade provided Strategic, high-impact role reporting directly to the COO Strong mix of autonomy and support in a growth-focused environment Opportunity to work with innovative, technical product solutions What we’re looking for Experience in a business development or hunter-style sales role Exposure to the security, access control, or related technology sectors Strong track record of winning new business and building/growing pipelines in a B2B environment High level of technical aptitude with the ability translate electronic security or hardware-based solutions into real-world applications Experience working with channel partners and distribution networks Confident, credible communicator who can engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders and decision-makers Self-motivated, proactive energy, and driven by results If you’re someone who thrives on building and expanding relationships, enjoys the technical side of solution selling, and wants to be part of a business in growth-mode APPLY NOW!
