The Opportunity Our Family Law team advises on a broad range of matters including parenting, property, divorce and child support with a focus on practical, client‑centred outcomes. In this role, you will: · Manage a varied family law file load with appropriate supervision. · Conduct client conferences, provide clear written and verbal advice, and develop case strategies. · Draft court documents, affidavits, consent orders and binding financial agreements. · Brief and liaise with counsel where required. · Appear at mentions, directions and interim hearings as appropriate. · Work collaboratively with colleagues across our Illawarra offices and other practice areas. Depending on your experience, there is scope to grow into a more autonomous role with increased court work and complex property/parenting matters. About you You will ideally have: · At least 1 year post‑admission experience in family law (more is welcome). · A current NSW practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one). · Solid drafting skills and attention to detail. · Strong client‑service focus and the ability to manage matters with empathy and professionalism. · Good time‑management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities. · A collaborative working style and willingness to contribute to the broader team.
