As a Registered Nurse with us, you will work with our residents living in our beautiful Blue Mountains facility and be responsible for providing quality care to residents within the facility to ensure their wellbeing, as well as providing guidance, direction and support to the care team including Assistant Nurses and Enrolled Nurses. Our successful candidate will be required to work the following night shifts (10:30pm – 7:00am) - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Nurse registration endorsed by AHPRA Have a minimum of 1 years' experience working as an RN in an Aged Care Setting – Essential Possess strong knowledge of aged care practices, clinical leadership, and relevant state and federal legislation affecting aged care services Demonstrates tolerance, patience and empathy with the residents and their needs Demonstrates strong written documentation, assessment, and communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and resolve issues efficiently Have relevant knowledge and expertise in wound management, infection control and WHS principles Have experience leading and supervising a care team Valid NDIS Workers Clearance and Australian Working Rights You will be responsible for: Delivering quality care to residents be enhancing their quality of life Liaising with medical officers and other health care professionals Communicating with residents and resident representatives in relation to all aspects of quality care and quality of life issues for residents Promoting independence in activities of daily living for the individual resident within the scope of their abilities.
