Unaccredited Trainee/Registrar/RMO - Cardiology Health Service: Western NSW Role: Trainee – Unaccredited Cardiology - apply as Registrar or RMO Experience: PGY2 Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 p.a. Start: ASAP Role Overview Registrar‑equivalent unaccredited cardiology role providing structured exposure across cardiology services in a regional network. The role includes echocardiography training, outpatient cardiology clinics, district STEMI cover, general medicine duties, and leave‑cover exposure in a larger cardiac centre with access to angiography. Key Responsibilities Deliver cardiology and general medical care under appropriate supervision Attend weekly echocardiography training supervised by cardiologists and cardiac sonographers Participate in cardiology clinics (2 days/week) in Bathurst Contribute to district cardiology & STEMI roster (1 day/week; 1 in 4 weekends on‑call in Orange ) Provide leave cover in Orange (up to 12 weeks/year), including angiography exposure Undertake 1 day/week General Medicine duties (no on‑call during GM shifts) Participate in MDTs, education sessions (videolink with Orange & RPAH), audit and research Candidate Profile 2 years post graduate experience needed with interest in cardiology IMGs welcome: AHPRA registration required with some AU experience; supervision and visa sponsorship available; Most recent registrar/supervisor report required to demonstrate competency gaps Ability to work independently within supervised practice Strong clinical references required Additional Details Relocation assistance - FOC single‑sex doctor accommodation (no families) Reach your potential at this modern hospital in a vibrant, historic town.
