Electrical Project Manager / Lead Electrical Engineer Interquip is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing for clients across Australia. Responsibilities include: Lead & develop end to end delivery of E&I scope from design through to commissioning and handover Manage project schedule, milestones, and deliverables Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts Monitor expenditure against budget and identify cost risks and opportunities Manage variations, & claims Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and construction Manage procurement of E&I equipment (MCCs, switchrooms, transformers, instrumentation) Provide technical leadership across electrical and instrumentation disciplines Review and approve designs, specifications, and vendor documentation Ensure compliance with relevant standards (AS/NZS 3000, 3007, 61439, 2067, etc.) Resolve technical issues during design, construction, and commissioning Act as the primary interface between client, EPCM team, and contractors Lead project meetings, reporting, and communication Develop and maintain detailed project schedules Identify critical path activities and manage delays Align engineering, procurement, and construction timelines To be successful in this role, you will possess: Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Tradesperson with Project Management experience Five (5) plus years experience in the mineral processing industry Construction White Card Sound understanding of procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, and expediting Practical, solution focused mindset Confident decision maker who can assess the situation, make the call, and drive outcomes without over analysis or delay Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels
