We have an exciting opportunity for a Tradesman Shift Supervisor to join our Workshop & Maintenance team on a full-time permanent basis on the morning shift! Start Early - 5am morning shift starts Weekend Penalty Rates - Regular weekend shifts available (if desired) Permanent Full Time - Financial stability & longevity Lead a Skilled Trades Team - Tradespeople, Apprentices & Trade Assistants Key Points of the Role: Lead and organise the maintenance team rostered to your shift, allocating tasks in line with the planned job list Supervise all shift work to ensure jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standard Sign off on all maintenance work completed during the shift Conduct pre-shift toolbox talks and safety checks, ensuring all team members are briefed and ready to go Deliver a thorough shift handover to the incoming supervisor, covering job status, priorities and outstanding items Record completed work orders and job outcomes accurately in the CMMS at the end of each shift Mentor and coach Apprentices & Trade Assistants throughout the shift Maintain workshop and work areas to a clean, safe, and orderly standard Role Requirements: Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (e.g. Fitter & Turner, Fitter & Machinist or equivalent) Minimum 3-5 years post-trade experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial maintenance environment Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a small trades team Sound understanding of WHS legislation, safe work practises, and permit requirements Ability to use CMMS or maintenance management systems for work order recording Forklift license and/or EWP license (advantageous but not essential) Confined Space and/or Working at Heights ticket (advantageous but not essential) Employee Benefits: On-the-job growth and development opportunities Long-term employment - financial stability and employment longevity Career progression - opportunities to move into senior maintenance roles Mentoring and leadership development support On-site parking If you believe you meet the above requirements and will add value to our team, please Apply Now!
