Renowned for elite playing surfaces and a progressive agronomic approach, Lynwood offers excellent career development opportunities in a supportive, team-first environment. 2ND ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT Working closely with the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, this role supports the execution of daily maintenance operations and agronomic programs. You will contribute across all areas of course preparation, turf health management, irrigation, and team leadership to help deliver elite playing conditions. About you: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (minimum) Current Chemical Application License (AQF3 or equivalent) preferred Strong understanding of turf management practices and agronomy Experience operating turf maintenance equipment Some of the tasks you may be involved in include: Assist in the daily preparation and presentation of the golf course Support the planning and execution of agronomic programs Operate and maintain a range of turf equipment, including spray units Assist with chemical applications in line with program requirements Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Monitor turf health, identifying pest, disease, and stress pressures Assist with irrigation scheduling and water management Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to team members 3IC / FOREMAN The 3IC / Foreman plays a key role in coordinating daily operations and leading the maintenance team on the ground. Acting as the link between management and staff, this role focuses on quality control and maintaining consistent presentation standards across the course. About you: Certificate III in Sports Turf Management Demonstrated leadership potential and strong work ethic Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to lead and motivate a team in a hands-on environment Pride in delivering high-quality course presentation Some of the tasks you may be involved in include: Assist in planning and coordinating daily maintenance activities Liaise with Assistant Superintendents to deliver daily objectives Maintain presentation standards across all course areas Monitor quality control and task completion Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and team support Operate machinery and contribute across all maintenance tasks Ensure compliance with WHS and club procedures Assist with course improvement projects Please note, shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical By joining the CHRG team, you will have access to our Employee Benefits Program, Connect.
