The Role As a Field Service Engineer , you’ll be the crucial link between customers and technical solutions - installing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment in the field, while delivering a standout customer experience. This is a Perth-based role (WA territory), with day-to-day travel and occasional overnight stays as required. You’ll work across a diverse and technically interesting portfolio which includes medical gas systems, patient monitoring, digital imaging systems, sterilisation and surgical equipment, servicing customers such as hospitals, day surgeries, medical centres and vet clinics. You'll be responsible for: Conducting routine preventative maintenance, safety and performance testing, and area testing functions of medical equipment within hospitals, vet clinics, medical centres and more. Attending service breakdown call-out requests. Delivering quality customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all work completed. Assisting with the training of fellow technicians where required. Working safely and in line with relevant health, safety and regulatory standards. About You To thrive in this role, you'll bring: A Trade certificate in Electronics, Instrumentation, or similar/equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience in biomedical service and/or scientific instrumentation A current Australian driver’s licence and confidence working across a mobile field-based territory Strong fault-finding ability and mechanical/electronic aptitude A calm, analytical approach with strong communication skills Ability to travel regionally/interstate as needed What’s in it for you?
