Your next opportunity This critical role will oversee maintenance planning operations for Boral’s Orange Grove Quarry in Perth. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance and Materials Coordinator ensures maintenance is fully planned, scheduled and kitted with materials and spares parts available to support safe and efficient execution. The role also has end-to-end accountability for stores and inventory management, including the forecasting, procurement, storage and control of critical spares and maintenance materials. In addition, the position will manage subcontractor utilisation across the business unit and proactively forecast maintenance demand to ensure asset reliability, cost control and operational continuity. Your day will involve: Develop maintenance plans and manage spares and labour requirements. Build and maintain weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate maintenance demands with operations to meet product output requirements. Maintain the efficient operation of all on-site equipment, including planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for the Quarry, including all preventative maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance readiness (Work packs / permits / kitting etc). Manage Materials and stores operations including maintaining materials master data, asset data and PM library. Maintain effective inventory control to optimise stock levels, reduce downtime and manage costs. Develop and maintain a reporting process to appropriately manage and communicate all maintenance activities within the Quarry. Prepare reports and analyse performance variances in accordance with company requirements. Ensure that customers receive high quality, accurate and timely maintenance support and services. Demonstrated maintenance planning and scheduling experience in heavy industry Inventory and stores management experience Contractor Management experience Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite C Class licence.
