The UTS Faculty of Health is a broad and multi-disciplinary faculty that addresses health from conception to end of life. About the role We are seeking a Lecturer in Nursing to join the School of Nursing and Midwifery on a full-time basis. You will contribute to high-quality teaching and research across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. In this role, you will develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based learning experiences using high-impact teaching strategies, while collaborating with colleagues to design, coordinate and continuously improve subjects and courses. You will integrate institutional teaching and learning priorities to support the goals of the UTS 2030 Strategy and maintain a strong presence with students, both face-to-face and online, to enrich their learning experience. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will establish and grow a program of high-quality research aligned with School, Faculty and University priorities, producing impactful outputs and actively pursuing internal and external funding opportunities. You will also play a key role in strengthening the University's external profile by building and maintaining relationships with industry, government, and academic and professional communities. About You You will bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and industry partners. You will have experience in conducting educational (teaching and learning) activities, and knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning approaches in higher education Other key selection criteria include: Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Experience in conducting teaching and learning activities at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, and knowledge of contemporary teaching and learning approaches in higher education. High level interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, students and partners. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Proven ability to engage in research activities and evidence of an emerging publication track record. PhD (or close to completion) in nursing or related discipline. What We Offer Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 (Level B), plus 17% superannuation. The positions are full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.
