Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components of light vehicles. Conduct routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and scheduled repairs. Dismantle and reassemble engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and suspension. Perform diagnostic testing and interpret fault codes using electronic equipment. Repair and replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications. Conduct wheel alignments, balancing, and tyre replacements. Maintain accurate service and repair records in compliance with company procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations. Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Requirements Requirements: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic. Valid driver’s licence. Experience working with both petrol and diesel engines. Familiarity with 4WD vehicles and a range of brands (Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Isuzu). Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and software effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
