Mechanical Fitter - Glass Recycling Plant Melbourne | $75.00 per hour OT | Long-term role We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join a busy glass recycling facility in Melbourne's West. This role offers excellent pay, long-term stability, and a hands-on maintenance environment. About the Role You will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant and equipment within the recycling facility. Work includes: Preventative maintenance using MEX Troubleshooting machinery and equipment Some turning and basic welding Working within a safety-focused team to ensure smooth operation This is a full-time, long-term assignment with great earning potential , regular overtime and ongoing support. What You'll Need To be successful, you must have: Trade Qualification - Mechanical Fitter Good computer skills - MEX experience preferred Physically fit - industrial plant environment Basic hand tools red lockout tag Own transport, PPE and reliable vehicle Full work rights in Australia Experience in recycling, manufacturing, heavy industry or industrial maintenance will be highly regarded.
