Role Purpose The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting contract documentation, administration and compliance across the company’s property and land development projects. The role contributes to effective project delivery by ensuring contracts, claims, variations, supplier arrangements and project records are accurately maintained and managed in line with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review and maintain contracts, agreements, purchase orders and related project documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Assist with contract negotiations, variations, extensions and amendments in accordance with project and business requirements. Monitor contractor, consultant and supplier performance to ensure contractual obligations, timelines and deliverables are met. Review and process claims, invoices, progress payments and supporting documents against agreed contract terms. Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate contract matters and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate contract records, approvals, correspondence and supporting documentation for compliance and audit purposes. Track contract milestones, expiry dates, deliverables, costs and key deadlines to support timely project delivery. Prepare contract status updates, cost summaries, variation registers and compliance reports for management review. Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, comparing supplier submissions and preparing contract award documentation. Identify contract risks, discrepancies or non-compliance issues and escalate matters to management with clear recommendations. Contribute to improving contract administration processes, templates, reporting tools and document control procedures. What We Are Looking For Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in contract administration, project administration, construction, property development or a related commercial environment. Relevant qualification in business, construction management, project management, commerce, contract administration or a related field. Good understanding of contracts, variations, claims, procurement processes and supplier management. Strong attention to detail with effective document control, record-keeping and deadline management skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
