The role: Gumtree Group has a wealth of audience data that draws from everyday Australians who engage with Gumtree, CarsGuide and Autotrader. We've used this data to personalise users' advertising experiences and solve our advertisers' tangible business problems. Still, there's plenty of room to grow, which is why we are looking for an Ad Tech Manager - Audience & Measurement to join the team. The heart of this role lies in working closely with the Head of Ad Tech and Performance to design and execute a strategy that uplifts Gumtree Group's advertising solutions by evolving our audience data offering, monetisation and how we measure performance. This role is collaborative, featuring a mix of hands-on technical work and co-leading projects. What you'll do: CDP and Audience Management - Build and optimise audience segments within the CDP, ensuring data inputs are effective and activation across platforms runs reliably Data Quality and Governance - Review and improve audience data, including schemas, signals, and sources, to ensure a reliable and scalable data foundation Cross-Platform Activation - Manage integrations and connectors to ensure audience segments flow seamlessly into on-site and external advertising platforms Data Collaboration and Partnerships - Work with internal teams and external partners to enrich audience data, enable privacy-safe data sharing, and enhance overall data capability Audience Monetisation Support - Translate audience insights into clear narratives, tools, and recommendations that support Sales in engaging advertisers and driving revenue Performance Measurement and Optimisation - Develop testing frameworks, run experiments, and produce case studies to evaluate and improve audience and campaign performance What you'll bring: 5 years in advertising (data, operations, or tech-focused roles) Experience working across multiple advertising technologies and data platforms, with openness to learning new tools and platforms Familiarity with a Customer Data Platform (e.g. Adobe Real-Time CDP or equivalent) Experience with one or more of: Ad servers (e.g. Google Ad Manager), Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), Cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud), Social ad platforms (e.g. Facebook Business Manager), Data clean rooms (e.g. Adobe Collaborate), Identity solutions (e.g. AdFixus Working understanding of: Audience data (1st/2nd/3rd party), Cookies, identifiers, and data privacy concepts Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights Project management capability with experience working cross-functionally What you'll get: Flex your schedule with hybrid work, flexible hours, and the freedom to work from anywhere for 4 weeks a year A $150 monthly allowance toward your preferred health insurance, plus exclusive Bupa discounts 20 weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers—we support all kinds of families A Learning and Development budget to fuel your growth and help you level up Your birthday off—yes, it's all about you Regular team events and fortnightly socials so you can connect, unwind, and have a little fun along the way 24/7 access to Sonder for you and your family—because your wellbeing matters Let's Do This!
