About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join our leadership team. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our dealership, overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of vehicles, parts, accessories, and services across the business. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budget targets • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing across all procurement categories • Oversee vehicle stock acquisition, including new and used inventory planning based on market demand and sales forecasting • Monitor and control procurement budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality • Collaborate with the sales, service, and parts departments to ensure timely availability of stock and materials • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular market analysis to benchmark pricing and quality • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Australian consumer law, and automotive industry regulations • Manage procurement documentation, purchase orders, and reporting to senior management • Lead and mentor junior procurement and purchasing staff • Liaise with manufacturers, wholesalers, and logistics providers to optimise the supply chain Skills & Experience Required • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing management • Experience in the automotive industry highly regarded • Demonstrated ability to manage significant budgets and complex supplier negotiations • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement and inventory management systems • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams • Knowledge of Australian import/export regulations and automotive compliance standards is an advantage • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred What We Offer • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience • Opportunity to shape and grow the procurement function within an expanding dealership • Supportive and professional team environment • Based in Maylands, with easy access to Perth CBD
