Shellharbour Wild is seeking an experienced and qualified Master 24m / MED 3 to join our team for the upcoming whale watching season. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the water, showcasing the incredible marine life along the South Coast while leading a professional and customer-focused crew. About the Role: You will be responsible for safely operating our vessel during whale watching tours, ensuring an exceptional experience for all passengers while maintaining strict safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Safely command and operate the vessel during whale watching tours Ensure compliance with all maritime safety regulations and company procedures Deliver informative and engaging commentary to guests Manage and support onboard crew Monitor weather and sea conditions to ensure safe operations Maintain vessel cleanliness and presentation Essential Requirements: Master 24m (or higher) qualification MED 3 Proven experience operating commercial vessels (whale watching experience highly regarded) Strong knowledge of local waters and marine conditions Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work weekends consistently Work Location: In person
