Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with the venue’s menu and quality standards. Oversee daily food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods. Maintain consistent food quality and presentation across all meals served. Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes when required. Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations. Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff and support their training where required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas and equipment. Assist with portion control, food cost management, and minimising food wastage. About You Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Previous experience working as a Cook or Senior Cook in a busy café or restaurant environment. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
