Woden Valley Gymnastics Club is seeking an experienced and motivated MAG Senior Coach / Head Coach to join and lead our Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) program in Canberra, ACT. This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) responsible for supporting athlete development, competition preparation, program growth, and the continued success of the club’s MAG program. Key responsibilities include: Preparing, implementing and evaluating structured training and competition programs; Supporting gymnasts in achieving training and competitive goals; Monitoring athlete development and performance outcomes; Assisting in the development and mentoring of junior coaching staff; Preparing coaching plans, reports, and competition schedules; Assisting with the management and administration of MAG programs; Organising and managing teams during competitions and travel; Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, management, and relevant sporting bodies; Maintaining high coaching and safety standards in accordance with Gymnastics Australia requirements. Successful applicants should demonstrate: High-level experience in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics coaching; Strong technical knowledge of competitive gymnastics programs; Experience coaching within competitive or high-performance environments; Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
