Estimator Australasian Retail Projects is a leading national project management and shopfitting company delivering retail fitout and refurbishment projects across Australia and New Zealand for major national brands. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Estimator to join our Molendinar-based team. About the Role Working closely with our Project Managers and trusted subcontractor network, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for retail fitout and refurbishment projects. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions • Interpret design documentation, plans and scopes of work • Complete material take-offs using PlanSwift (or equivalent software) • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and Project Managers regarding pricing and RFIs • Prepare trade scopes and tender clarifications • Maintain organised project documentation, quotes and correspondence • Assist with contract variations and project costing updates as required • Support the wider team where needed What We’re Looking For • Estimating experience within retail, commercial or residential construction • Shopfitting experience highly regarded • Ability to interpret drawings and prepare detailed trade scopes • Strong organisational and time management skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Good communication skills, both written and verbal • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills • Experience with PlanSwift or similar estimating software preferred About You You are a reliable and motivated team player who takes pride in producing accurate work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
