Fuel Distributors of WA operates a fleet of 40 prime movers and associated trailing equipment. We have a vacancy for a Workshop Stores person to coordinate our spare parts store. If you have previous experience in coordinating a spare parts store for a trucking workshop facility or have worked with trucks and are a hands-on, practical person with a mechanical aptitude and experience in refurbishing vehicle components, this could be the role for you. The Job Explained: In your capacity of Workshop Stores person you will be required to: Maintain a well-documented spare parts store for the Company’s workshop. Ensure parts used are tracked and re-ordered to maintain appropriate stock levels. Order, receive and sort incoming spare parts in an orderly and timely manner. Collect spare parts as required. Administer paperwork and conduct regular stock takes. Assist with the delivery and pick up of Company fleet from external workshop locations. Participate in compliance requirements for the workshop as directed by the workshop manager and supervisor. Carry out workshop floor stock levels. i.e. oil levels, consumables, organising waste oil and filter bin collection. Work closely with mechanics to order and book out correct parts. Maintain, keep a tidy and organise store area. What experience will you need: To be considered for this position candidates will need: Previous stores or warehouse experience is essential . Preferably with a trucking company. Good mechanical aptitude is preferable. Hold a current driver’s licence with clean driving record. Forklift license is essential or ability to obtain. Computer literacy skills are essential. Salary and Benefits: Fuel Distributors of WA offers competitive remuneration packages.
