If you’re experienced with core and want steady, well-structured work without the chaos of stop-start drilling programs, this role offers consistency, pace, and a clear runway through to November. This contract runs early June through to mid November on a 2:2 roster, day shift only. You’ll step into a site with an established workflow where your experience is relied on, not micromanaged. The focus is simple. Keep core moving efficiently and safely at production pace. You’ll be working with a team that understands what “good” looks like in a coreyard. Expectations are clear, and performance is measured on output and consistency, not unnecessary admin. With targets around 250m per day, this suits someone who’s comfortable in a high throughput environment and takes pride in maintaining standards while moving quickly. The role is structured, stable, and well supported. You’ll have the tools, equipment, and processes in place to do your job properly, without constantly working around gaps or inefficiencies. There is strong potential for longer term work beyond the initial contract for those who perform well. This works well for someone who: Has 5 years’ coreyard experience and can step in without training Holds a current Forklift ticket and manual driver’s licence Is comfortable maintaining production pace without compromising quality Understands core handling, metre marking, tray management, and yard organisation Can support general tool use and basic maintenance tasks when needed.
