Power On Cabling is a fast-growing company who specialize in underground asset installation, excavation, cable laying, concrete formwork, earthworks & electrical installation. We require a qualified Carpenter to work with our company on a full time basis. The Roles and Responsibilities include: Provide expertise in Civil Construction Carpentry and Form-work Carpentry, Shoring work inside open trenches Formwork to re-instate concrete footpaths kerbs and brick paving Set out concrete foundations, pour blinding, tie reo, form up foundations for concrete pour Work under own initiative Liaise with other trades on-site Collecting data from the DBYD underground plans To have completed an induction and be competent to perform work to the level required Have a clear understanding of what is required for each job Be able to communicate effectively with management and other team members Understand and implement Power On Cabling policies and procedures and safety standards Identify and action with HR your training needs Comply to company drug and alcohol testing and medical requirements Comply to all of the Western Power work practice manual requirements Give training and insight to offsiders and younger crew members Personal Behave in a professional manner at all times. Have a positive attitude. Be approachable and listen to the team members Be presentable, neat and tidy. Ensure you are wearing correct PPE at all times Promote a safe working environment Remuneration An annual salary of between $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience. Experience The successful applicant must have at least three years experience.
