We’re looking for an experienced Lead Baristas to join our team at Next Door Espresso! This is a hands-on lead barista role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We’re after someone confident on machine during busy service, calm under pressure, customer-focused and genuinely passionate about coffee and hospitality. Lead baristas are prioritized stable hours with a lifestyle-focused roster, giving you 3 days off weekly. Must be available for at least one weekend day. Staff meals included on shifts over 5 hours. We’re big on customer experience, speed and hospitality. We thrive off busy service, strong teamwork and making sure every customer leaves with an amazing experience. What we’re looking for: Strong specialty coffee experience Confident handling high-volume service (10kg days) Able to lead coffee flow during peak periods Strong communication & team awareness Knowledge of grinders, dial-ins & machine management Reliable, fast and organised Must be available weekends Latte art essential Positive attitude & great customer service This role works closely with our FOH supervisors and service team to keep coffee service flowing smoothly during busy mornings.
