Vantris Energy Australia (VEA) is a leading offshore subsea contractor with 30 years' experience in offshore construction, operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Vantris Energy Berhad. We are seeking experienced Subsea Project Engineers and Senior Subsea Project Engineers to join our high-performing team, with opportunities available across a variety of employment arrangements, and play a key role in the successful delivery of our subsea projects. As a Project Engineer or as Senior Project Engineer you will: Support Safe & efficient execution of Projects in line with Client requirements & expectations, as well as ensuring work implementation meets Vantris. Energy Management, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Develop procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and/or de commissioning engineering documentation (scopes of work, calculations, drawings, sketches, procedures etc.) in compliance with Client requirements & Specifications Review and compile project operation and technical work pack documentation in support of project readiness Follow purchasing & procurement processes for Project related equipment including development of scopes of work, evaluation of proposals & implementation of terms of contract throughout delivery & execution Identify all material, installation aids and services (including relevant sub-contractors) required to perform the Work Participate in vessel offshore mobilisation and coordinating of mobilisation activities with daily reporting and tracking progress Offshore site attendance in support of the overall offshore work scope with reporting to Senior Project Lead and/or Offshore Construction Manager, and where applicable act as technical lead to support the Offshore Construction Manager for work scope execution Development and compilation of final project as built and related documentation as part of support for project close out Provide technical support for tenders, including development of work methodology and other tender deliverables to comply with Clients tender submission requirements For the Senior Project Engineer: ability to supervise Graduates and Project Engineers and ability to manage scopes, portfolio of scopes. Our projects are diverse and we are looking for Project Engineers with experience with some of the following field: Air and Sat Diving, Decommissioning, IMR, SURF, Moorings, Subsea Installations, ROV Operations, Fabrication, Structure, Spool Installation, Towing. Experience is Air and Sat Diving will be strongly considered. Requirements A strong understanding and commitment to HSEQ 10 years’ experience for Senior Project Engineer Minimum 3 years for Project Engineers Demonstrated experience in the preparation, engineering, and offshore execution of subsea projects, particularly involving the development and/or decommissioning of SURF systems, mooring systems, rigid pipelines, and subsea structures. Air and Sat Diving experience will be strongly considered Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver oral presentations Experience with saturation and air diving operations Experience in operations involving ROV subsea tooling and vessel positioning equipment Good technical skills The ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic project environment driven by deadlines Experience with developing method statements and procedures Experience in preparing Scopes of Work for Subcontractors and deck layouts for mobilisation plans Experience developing rigging design, lift planning and installation procedures associated with the deployment of subsea infrastructure Aligned with our values: Honesty, Accountability and respect.
