We are seeking a passionate Community Health Care Registered Nurse to join our Child and Family Health Team at our Hawkesbury Community Health Centre. Within this role you will be working as part of the multidisciplinary team and will work in collaboration with clients, families and carers who attend the Child and Family Health Nursing Service with children aged 0– 5 years to provide compassionate, evidence based quality client centered nursing care to achieve identified goals and outcomes. This comprehensive service involves assessment, prevention, early identification and intervention, referral, health promotion, community development and education to clients of the service. What you will bring to the role Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in provision of care to children aged 0-5 years and their families/carers as a registered nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or 12 months full time equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse) Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work. Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills. Demonstrated commitment to professional development. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Current driver's licence and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
