About the role We are seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team at Kynic pty Ltd. This is initially a casual position with the scope to increase to a permanent role for the right person/s. Based in Humpty Doo NT 0836 and servicing the Darwin, Palmerston and rural areas you will be responsible for maintaining grounds, gardens, and landscaping at our various clients to the highest standards. What you'll be doing Regularly mowing, edging, and trimming the lawn and garden areas Pruning and shaping shrubs, hedges, and trees Planting and caring for plants, and other greenery Weed management, mulching, and fertilising garden beds Maintaining gardening equipment and tools Ensuring the grounds are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times- includes collecting litter and at times removing rubbish from clients properties. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures Operating various gardening tools and machinery Irrigation maintenance and repairs, as well as installations. What we're looking for At least 2 years' experience as a professional Gardener or Landscaper Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, and plant care Ability to use a variety of gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team Good physical fitness and stamina to undertake physical garden maintenance- especially in the NT heat.
