Eastern Guruma is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to join our team based at our Perth CBD Head Office in a Monday to Friday role. This position will provide centralised contract and commercial support across the business, supporting operational delivery, contract compliance, commercial governance, and financial performance. About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Contracts Specialist will work closely with Operations and Project Teams to support contract administration, tendering, claims, variations, forecasting, procurement coordination, and commercial risk management across multiple projects and operational activities. Key Responsibilities Provide contract and commercial support across operations and projects Review contracts, departures, obligations, and commercial risks Coordinate tenders, bids, proposals, and EOIs Prepare progress claims, variations, contractual notices, and reporting documentation Support procurement activities, contract execution, and project mobilisation requirements Assist with project controls, forecasting, cost tracking, and commercial reporting Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting systems Work collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Project Teams About You Tertiary or industry qualification in Contract Management, Construction, Contracts, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline 5–10 years’ experience in contracts, commercial, or contract administration roles Experience within mining, civil, construction, maintenance, facilities management, integrated services, or similar industries highly regarded Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk, claims, and variations Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and commercial acumen Strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP system experience Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills What We Offer Monday to Friday role based in Perth CBD Up to $140,000 per annum plus super for the right candidate Permanent full-time opportunity Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work across diverse mining and operational projects Career development and long-term growth opportunities If you are a motivated commercial professional looking to join a growing organisation, we would love to hear from you.
