SEA Global (SEA) are seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer with experience in Subsea Production Systems to join our team, contributing to the design and specification of subsea instrumentation, power and control systems, in sectors including oil & gas and future energy projects. Key Responsibilities: Instrumentation, Power, and Control / Subsea Production Systems Engineering: Define system architecture (e.g. all‑electric, electro‑hydraulic, SIL levels, etc.). Define the I&C/Subsea System philosophy, specifications, and technical/functional requirements. Lead design and specification of subsea equipment including network diagrams, controls and power distribution systems, integration with subsea structures and XTs, and umbilical/power/fibre optic cable specification. Manage and define interfaces between subsea and topside/onshore control systems. Develop control system functional requirements, instrument data sheets, Cause & Effect (C&E) charts, control narratives and logic diagrams, and interface control documents. Lead or contribute to SIL assessments and safety integrity verification, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMEDA), and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) studies. Ensure systems meet functional safety, redundancy, and fail‑safe requirements. Project Management and Collaboration: Represent I&C discipline in client‑facing and project/management forums. Balance technical depth with commercial and schedule awareness. Technical evaluation of suppliers and vendor packages, review vendor documentation, drawings, software logic, and test procedures, and input to technical clarifications, deviations, and concession handling. Support project execution within schedule and cost management. Participate in technical reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, and design reviews) Collaborate with other disciplines, clients, and global subject matter experts to deliver projects. Contribute to bids, proposals, and client meetings, ensuring project deliverables are achieved on time and according to specifications. Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Capture lessons learned from projects and operations, and improve engineering practices, standards, and tools. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Contribute to the development of in-house automated engineering tools. Skills and Experience: 1. Qualifications: a. Degree in Electrical/Controls/Systems Engineering or similar relevant subject. 2. Experience: a. 5-10 years experience in Instrumentation & Controls and/or Subsea Production Systems within the Oil and Gas, and Renewables sectors. b. Experience in the development of engineering reports, specifications, and drawings to adequately present subsea production systems solutions. c. Experience in offshore production system design codes such as ISO, DNV, API and ASME. 3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: a. Strong written and verbal communication skills. b. Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and clients. c. Innovative approach to problem-solving and strong commitment to safety and quality.
