Production Workers / Machine Operators – Afternoon Shift Location: Silverwater, NSW Our client is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and distributors of food and beverage consumable products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Production Workers / Machine Operators to join their expanding manufacturing team on the afternoon shift. Position Details Monday to Friday shifts (with overtime as required) Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Pay rate: $37.17 per hour overtime rates Temp-to-permanent opportunity for successful candidates This role offers stability and long-term career prospects within a supportive and growing organisation. Key Responsibilities Operate production and packaging machinery Load and unload raw materials Feed raw materials into machinery for production Transfer and palletise finished goods Operate automatic lifting trolleys (rewinding packaging film rolls) Perform general pick and pack duties Follow company policies and procedures Maintain housekeeping and assist with warehouse duties About You To be considered, you will ideally have: Previous production or manufacturing experience Experience in food manufacturing (highly desirable) HACCP and food safety awareness Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail Physical fitness (ability to lift up to 25kg) Reliable transport Availability to work Monday–Friday and overtime when required Immediate availability (preferred) What’s on Offer Positive workplace culture and supportive environment Job security with temp-to-permanent pathway Full-time hours with overtime opportunities Complimentary morning tea and Friday lunches Weekly fruit boxes (Mondays and Wednesdays) Attractive pay rate upon permanent transition Please note: Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
