What we offer: ·Competitive salary package ·Supportive and collaborative team environment ·Consistent pipeline of residential and small commercial projects ·Opportunity to grow with a reliable and quality-focused team What you will do: ·Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and removing old paint or wallpaper to ensure a smooth finish ·Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment ·Mix and match paints to achieve required colours and finishes in line with client expectations ·Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures, ensuring clean and tidy worksites throughout the project ·Erect and dismantle ladders and scaffolding as required to safely access work areas ·Read and interpret job specifications and client requirements to deliver accurate and high-quality outcomes ·Inspect completed work to ensure consistency, coverage, and overall finish meets company standards ·Work efficiently on both small touch-up jobs and larger full-property repaints with minimal disruption to clients ·Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition and ensure proper storage after use ·Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times What you should have: ·Relevant qualification in painting and decorating, or equivalent work experience ·3 years of proven experience as a Painter, ideally across residential and light commercial projects ·Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint types, and application methods ·Ability to deliver high-quality finishes with strong attention to detail ·Good communication skills and ability to work well with clients and team members ·Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across different job sites ·Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing work to a high standard ·White Card (Construction Induction) and relevant licences as required Desired Skills and Attributes: ·Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic ·Pride in workmanship and attention to detail ·Ability to adapt to different job types and client needs ·Friendly and professional manner when interacting with clients ·Willingness to learn and grow within a small, dedicated team ·If you’re a skilled painter looking to be part of a team that values quality, reliability, and professionalism, we encourage you to apply.
