MatchWorks is looking for a Project Officer to join us! This role services the Melton area, so willingness to travel from site to site is essential for this position. What you’ll do As a Project Officer in our Community and Innovation Team, you will be responsible for: Project coordination & delivery: Manage day-to-day operations of The Exchange project, ensuring services are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with funding, compliance, and reporting requirements, including accurate data and performance tracking. Stakeholder & employer engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Lendlease, subcontractors, employers, and community partners to identify workforce needs and support collaboration, events, and engagement activities. Participant pathways & workforce development: Support job seekers through person-centred coaching, job readiness activities, labour market alignment, and connection to employment opportunities, including targeted programs with schools and community groups. Compliance, reporting & communication: Maintain high standards of WHS, ethical conduct, and data privacy while contributing to reporting, marketing, and communication activities that demonstrate project impact and meet KPIs. What you’ll bring Relevant experience or qualifications in employment services, workforce development, training, career development, youth work, or a related field. Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to engage effectively with participants, employers, and stakeholders. Experience in delivery of programs and workshops, including facilitating group sessions and information activities in engaging and accessible ways. Well-developed professional capabilities, including strong communication, organisational and digital literacy skills, understanding of employment pathways/barriers, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with required clearances and licence. Driver's licence is essential as travel is required as part of this role. (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
