Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on. About the role We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our firm in an in-house national role, on a 18-month fixed term contract. As an integral team member of the General Counsel team, you will be providing legal support to our Senior Executive team and our wider firm on a range of legal and regulatory issues. This is an exciting opportunity with the role having the visibility and scope to influence the commercial decision making in the firm on a daily basis. This is a role with guaranteed variety, from the provision of accurate and commercially focussed legal advice as required across various areas of law, including in relation to innovation projects, privacy and data protection, through to drafting and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts across the business, as well as acquisitions and litigation support.
