Description Create your best future and join Westpac as an Associate Director, Institutional Property NSW Permanent Full-time opportunity Sydney based Hybrid working model (3 days/week in office) What’s the role? As an Associate Director in the Analyst team, you are responsible for high quality credit analysis, delivery of best-in-class customer and industry insights to differentiate our sales proposition, manage portfolio risk and provide robust analysis to support and deliver sustainable credit decisions, within a wholesale banking environment. You will utilise your industry knowledge to deliver value-added insights for customers and internal stakeholders, ensure all aspects of the credit process and due diligence are executed effectively, and assess proposals against business strategy, target market criteria and underwriting standards. Working closely alongside Relationship Managers, you will prepare credit submissions with detailed risk analysis and financial forecasting, present and negotiate through WIB’s risk process, and determine the suitability and structuring of proposals for final approval by a Credit Officer. What do I need? 5 years minimum experience in wholesale banking or a related field, ideally with experience of credit writing Corporate Finance experience within one or more of the following sectors of Property, Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Finance or Accounting industry will be well regarded. Good communication and influencing skills required to manage significant relationships with stakeholders Experience applying a risk mindset and commercial acumen Client interaction / relationship management experience would be beneficial.
