Summary: We are seeking a motivated Administration Assistant to join our team in Forestville, New South Wales. This casual role with at least 16 hours per week (Mon Tue) is a good fit for people new to administrative or secretarial work. The Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient office management, and contributing to a positive work environment. Responsibilities: Managing an office’s general correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and faxes. Developing and maintaining an effective filing system. Assist in organising meetings and events. Rostering assistant. Operating and maintaining office equipment, such as printers, and replenishing office supplies as needed. Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary. Prepare and proofread office documents, such as memos and reports, and distribute these as necessary. Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports. Handling basic bookkeeping tasks Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in an administrative role is an advantage, but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
