About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technical Specialist to support our Western Australia branch. Support CCTV, access control and integrated security systems across IP networks, VMS platforms and virtual environments. This role is ideal for a technically capable electronic security professional who enjoys combining hands‑on system expertise with technical support for field teams. You will assist with the delivery, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control and integrated security systems across client sites. Working closely with technicians and operational teams, you will act as a key technical point of contact within the branch, helping resolve complex issues, improve system performance and maintain consistent technical standards. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for installation, configuration and commissioning of electronic security systems. Diagnose and resolve faults across CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems. Assist technicians with system configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Support ongoing maintenance and optimisation of security systems across client sites. Interpret technical drawings, schematics and system documentation. Ensure installations meet industry standards, company procedures and client requirements. Technical Experience Proven experience with electronic security systems including CCTV, access control and alarm systems. Experience with IP‑based security technologies and networked devices. Knowledge of Video Management Systems (VMS), NVRs and IP cameras. Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system diagrams. Relevant qualification in electronics, electrotechnology, or security technology preferred. IT & Networking Knowledge Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DHCP, DNS and PoE. Ability to support IP surveillance systems and network‑connected security devices. Familiarity with virtual environments (VMware or Hyper‑V) used for surveillance platforms. Understanding of storage, bandwidth and performance requirements for CCTV systems. Awareness of cybersecurity practices relevant to electronic security deployments.
