Martin Metal Works (MMW) – Longwarry, VIC Martin Metal Works (MMW) is a growing industrial fabrication and maintenance company specialising in structural steel, plant upgrades, heavy fabrication, maintenance and industrial installation works across Victoria. Operating from our fully equipped 2100m² workshop in Longwarry, we deliver a wide range of workshop and onsite projects throughout quarry, concrete, manufacturing and industrial environments. Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to lead and coordinate workshop operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity. ABOUT THE ROLE • Supervise and coordinate workshop tradesmen and apprentices • Schedule and prioritise fabrication works • Read and interpret workshop drawings • Oversee fabrication quality and workshop productivity • Coordinate materials and consumables • Assist with workshop planning and job scheduling • Maintain safe workshop operations • Liaise with management, drafting and site teams • Hands-on fabrication and welding as required • Monitor project progress and deadlines WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred • Strong fabrication and welding background • Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings • Good organisational and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and quality control • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines • Reliable, motivated and safety focused • Forklift licence advantageous • Driver’s licence required WHAT WE OFFER • Full-time long-term position • Competitive hourly rate / salary package • Overtime opportunities available • Supportive team environment • Modern and well-equipped workshop • Variety of industrial fabrication projects • Growing company with ongoing work • Opportunity to help shape and improve workshop systems LOCATION Longwarry, VIC TO APPLY Please send your resume and any relevant qualifications to: martinmetalworks.com.au Or contact Martin Metal Works directly for further information.
