Position Summary: We are seeking skilled and dedicated Multi Combination (MC) Drivers to join our team to commence immediately on a permanent full-time basis. As an MC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of perishable goods using refrigerated trucks. These roles require a strong commitment to maintaining the cold chain, adhering to road transport laws, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Operation: Safely operate multi-combination and heavy combination refrigerated vehicles, conduct inspections, and secure loads appropriately. Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain the temperature within the refrigerated unit to ensure the integrity of perishable goods. Compliance: Adhere to road safety regulations, maintain accurate logbooks, and ensure compliance with weight restrictions and freight handling guidelines. Freight Handling: Load, unload, and verify the accuracy of perishable goods, ensuring proper securing of loads. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and customers, providing excellent service and representing the company professionally. Maintenance: Report vehicle defects, perform minor maintenance tasks, and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment. Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, participate in safety training, and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications and Skills: Licensing: Valid Multi Combination (MC) driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience: Proven experience as an MC driver, preferably in refrigerated transport, with knowledge of regulations and best practices. BFM Accreditation. Skills: Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, excellent time management, organizational skills, and physical fitness for manual tasks. Working Conditions: Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off , varied hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, public holidays, and Long-distance travel.
