As we continue to grow in Australia, we are looking for a Gatehouse Yard Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Yatala, and ensure the smooth operation of our yard facilities. About the Role This hands-on role overseeing the managing of incoming and outgoing vehicle drop-offs and pickups, managing access passes, logging incoming and outgoing inventory, asset check-in via a handheld device, photographing vehicles, and storage of assets all while ensuring compliance and safety standards are met in the Gatehouse and out in the Yard. You will play a vital role in managing the flow of vehicles and assets within our site. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing traffic on site to ensure a smooth and efficient flow. Coordinate with transport providers for the timely delivery and removal of assets. Assist clients, assessors and transporters with on-site queries, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain accurate operational and inventory records and report yard performance updates to management. Maintain an accurate inventory log Verify documentation and address any discrepancies in asset records Perform vehicle check-in, appraising, photographing and storage of assets, ensuring compliance with company standards. Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and store them in the appropriate locations at the branch During catastrophe periods, high volumes of assets come into yard, and so the ability to work under pressure while still providing a quality service safely is essential. What We’re Looking For Experience: We are open to newcomers to the industry, however a strong background in customer service is essential and a background in traffic control is an advantage. Problem-Solving Ability – Experience handling logistical challenges and safety compliance. Customer-Focused Approach – Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members. Safety Focused – Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and vehicles operating in the work area. Driver’s Licence – Required for site operations. What’s in it for You?
