In this role, you will support allied health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care by assisting with therapy programs, patient interventions and clinical support activities within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. About This Role Your new role: In this role you will support allied health professionals in delivering patient-centred care by assisting with therapy programs and clinical support activities within the Occupational Therapy service. Assist therapists with implementing individual and group therapy programs Support patient care activities including mobility, manual handling and transport Prepare and manage therapy equipment, resources and assistive devices Contribute to patient documentation and report progress to treating clinicians Assist with stock control, equipment maintenance and clinical resource management About You You are a motivated and supportive Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and contributing to positive patient outcomes. Demonstrated ability to assist with delegated therapy interventions and clinical tasks Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within healthcare teams Ability to prioritise workload and manage tasks effectively in a busy clinical environment Understanding of scope of practice and commitment to safe, high-quality care Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant experience (highly regarded) Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
