Position: Motor Mechanic Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Narre Warren VIC 3805 Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join their team in Narre Warren, Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. Key Duties and Responsibilities: ·Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle components. ·Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other parts for inspection and repair. ·Repair or replace worn and defective components and reassemble mechanical systems according to manufacturer specifications and service manuals. ·Perform scheduled maintenance services including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups, and other preventative maintenance tasks. ·Reassemble engines and vehicle parts after repairs are completed. ·Test and adjust repaired mechanical parts to ensure proper performance and vehicle safety. ·Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify faults and test vehicle systems and components. ·Inspect vehicles and identify work required to meet roadworthiness standards. ·Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls when required. Requirements: ·Certificate III and Certificate IV (or higher) in a relevant automotive trade qualification. ·Minimum 12 months’ experience working as a Motor Mechanic ·Current valid driver’s licence ·Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems. ·Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized testing equipment. ·Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. ·Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
