Gladstone-based, permanent, and hands-on from day one. This is a role you can really get stuck into. We’re looking for a Maintainer Operator to join our team at the NRG Power Station in Gladstone. Reporting to the Team Leader – Ash Operations, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and servicing of the ash processing plant. A trade qualification or mechanical aptitude is advantageous, but not essential. This role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, with one weekend every four weeks . Your Opportunity In this role you will: Operate and maintain ash processing plant equipment including pneumatic conveying systems, pneumatic systems and valves Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance and contribute to equipment commissioning Monitor product quality through sample taking, analysis and minor reporting Maintain ash stocks to appropriate levels and ensure all customer deliveries are on time and to specification Actively contribute to a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, safety observations and SHEQ compliance What You’ll Bring Experience in process operations or similar hands-on role A trade qualification in Fitting Machining, Fabrication or similar - advantageous but not essential Computer literacy - SAP experience highly regarded Forklift, scissor lift or EWP licence - desirable A strong safety mindset and the ability to work unsupervised Flexibility to cover weekend, public holiday and call out shifts as required Why Join Cement Australia?
