Job Duties: Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include: • Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly pay run) • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions • Responding to employee payroll queries and resolving discrepancies • Supporting compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and legislation • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting • Preparing payroll data for journal entries • Supporting process improvements and system efficiencies • Maintaining accurate employee records within the payroll system Candidate Profile: The successful applicant will bring prior payroll experience along with the following: • 1–4 years’ experience in a payroll position • Exposure to end-to-end payroll processing • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines • Experience with payroll systems (e.g. Kronos) is advantageous • Understanding of awards and EBAs is preferred What’s on Offer: • Opportunity to join a large, well-established organisation • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Flexible work arrangements (1–2 days from home) • Ongoing training and career development opportunities Apply Now: If this opportunity aligns with your experience and you’re looking for your next step in payroll, I’d love to hear from you.
