Mills is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Research Analyst to join a high-performing team supporting major mining and resources projects. This role sits at the front end of business development, responsible for identifying, analysing and shaping real project opportunities across greenfield developments and brownfield sustaining capital programs. You’ll play a critical role in feeding the BD pipeline by turning market intelligence into actionable insights that drive client engagement and project wins. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain a live pipeline of mining project opportunities (greenfield and brownfield) Track project stages, approvals (EPA/EPBC) and investment signals Develop account dossiers including key stakeholders and decision makers Identify trigger events (study awards, approvals, capex changes) to support BD timing Support outreach strategy with targeted insights and value propositions About You: 1-4 years’ experience or a high-calibre graduate with strong analytical capability Background in mining, engineering, commerce, economics or similar Strong research, synthesis and problem-solving skills Able to translate complex information into clear, commercial insights Interest in mining projects, capital delivery and business development This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence and project development within the resources sector.
