Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking a experienced Subcontracts Program Manager to lead Subcontracts Program Management and procurement support for our aeronautical and maritime sustainment programs. Key Responsibilities Lead Subcontracts Program Management across the full lifecycle, from capture through sustainment, including subcontract design, negotiation, execution and ongoing management Manage subcontractor performance to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and technical objectives Provide leadership across procurement activities supporting sustainment operations Ensure compliance with aeronautical regulatory, quality, and safety requirements Develop and implement subcontractor management plans, including ensuring effective contract administration and governance Lead constructive subcontract relationships promoting a team-based culture of collaborative problem solving and outcomes delivery Identify and implement sovereign sourcing strategies to reduce lead times and mitigate global supply chain bottlenecks Proactively assess and manage supply chain and subcontract risks Collaborate within an integrated program team, including Defence, LM, and subcontractor personnel About you: Extensive Defence experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Subcontracts Management Strong stakeholder engagement and program leadership capability Proven ability to manage complex supplier networks and deliver program outcomes Experience in risk management, supplier development, and contract performance Desirable Knowledge of aeronautical regulations and their application to aircraft sustainment Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
