Our client, is seeking a Facility Asset Manager for a 12 week assignment. Roster: Monday to Friday Start date: ASAP Duration: approx. 12 weeks - depending on client requirements Pay Rate: $56.00 p/h The Role: An exciting short-term opportunity is available for experienced facilities or asset management professional to join a large government-focused portfolio supporting educational and training facilities across metropolitan Perth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong stakeholder relationships, and coordinating maintenance and asset activities to ensure facilities are safe, compliant, and operating effectively. As the Facility Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Low Value Maintenance (LVM) works across a diverse property portfolio. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and government stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are delivered efficiently, within agreed timeframes, and in accordance with relevant standards and policies. This position offers valuable exposure to a high-profile asset management portfolio and is well suited to professionals seeking to broaden their facilities management experience. Please note that only people with relevant experience will be considered. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the delivery of Low Value Maintenance (LVM) works across multiple sites Monitor work-in-progress and ensure maintenance requests are actioned within required service levels Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and government representatives Support maintenance planning and delivery to meet site operational requirements Ensure compliance with building codes, legislation, and internal procedures Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiencies Provide support to senior management as required The ideal candidate will hold the following : Previous experience in facilities management, asset management, building maintenance, or construction Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , Microsoft Outlook , and maintenance management systems Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes Knowledge of building compliance, maintenance processes, and safety requirements Current Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence If you are interested in the role and fit the criteria, please apply online today!
