Client Details A growth-oriented, ASX-listed resources organisation with significant capital investment programs, focused on developing and operating large-scale projects while maintaining strong governance, reporting discipline, and investor engagement. Description Reporting to the CFO, the General Manager Finance leads the finance function, with an emphasis on ASX reporting, statutory compliance, and maintaining the integrity of financial control across the Group. The role is accountable for delivering timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual reporting, while acting as the primary interface with auditors and supporting continuous disclosure requirements. A key focus is on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and providing clear, actionable insights to support capital allocation and operational decision-making. The CFO will partner closely with business units to assess project performance, cash flow, and profitability, translating complex financial data into commercial recommendations for leadership and investors. Additionally, the role oversees treasury, tax, and financial modelling activities, supporting strategic initiatives, funding requirements and growth opportunities. Profile The successful candidate is likely a technically strong finance leader (CA/CPA qualified) with experience in a publicly listed or similarly regulated environment, ideally within resources or other capital-intensive sectors. They will bring a proven track record across financial control, ASX reporting, and FP&A, with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. Experience navigating growth, transformation, or project-heavy environments is important, along with strong stakeholder engagement skills across executives, boards, auditors, and investors. They will be a commercially minded operator who can balance governance with insight, and influence decision-making through high-quality analysis. Strong leadership capability and experience building high-performing teams in complex environments will be critical to success.
