About the role As an Employment Consultant, your role is to support people with disability to prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment with inclusive and supportive employers. You will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training to ensure you feel confident and capable in the role. In an average week, you will: Work with jobseekers to uncover their interests, passions and skills. Help them build their confidence and undertake additional training to become job ready to apply for suitable roles. Provide post-placement support to jobseekers who have found employment, providing support mechanisms to ensure they thrive in the workplace. Develop relationships with local businesses and organisations. Approach local employers on behalf of jobseekers; confidence in proactively promoting our organisation and our jobseekers is key. Skills And Experiences You will receive full training to build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an Employment Consultant.
