About the role and where you will be working: Our Allied Health team at Southern Cross East Fremantle are seeking a full time Senior Physiotherapist to join our team! Southern Cross Health and Wellness Centre is a state-of-the-art exercise, rehabilitation and hydrotherapy facility. We provide person-centred care and strive to enhance the quality of life and independence of our clients through a variety of different referral streams. Your responsibilities will focus on utilising the highest end of your clinical skillset to provide assessment, clinical reasoning and evidence-based intervention to our clients. You will have multiple opportunities to build rapport with our clients and focus on partnering with them to achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Deliver high-quality evidence based and outcome measured physiotherapy services to our clients including; Acute and Chronic pain management Functional based reablement Falls prevention/Recovery programs Chronic Disease and Multimorbidity Management Prescription of mobility aids Communicating effectively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to enhance the wellbeing of clients Contributing to quality improvements in Allied Health Team About you: Willingness to embrace the values of Southern Cross Care WA and rewarding industry and how it plays into the role To be successful in this role, you will need to be an AHPRA registered Senior Physiotherapist with at least 3-5 years’ experience. You will also need a strong commitment to person centred care and able to work both independently and within a team. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in our clients' lives. To be considered for this role you’ll need: Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (General Registration – no conditions/restrictions relevant to practice). 3-5 years’ post-graduate physiotherapy experience, with strong senior-level assessment, clinical reasoning and evidence-based intervention. Demonstrated experience in acute/chronic pain management, functional reablement and goal-based rehabilitation. Experience delivering falls prevention and recovery programs, including exercise prescription and mobility aid assessment/prescription. Knowledge and confidence supporting clients with chronic disease and multimorbidity, tailoring plans to goals, function and independence. Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to meet pre-employment and ongoing compliance requirements, including a current National Police Clearance (within 6 months), NDIS Worker Screening Check, Flu immunisation record, and completion of a pre-employment health questionnaire.
